Contact U4S

One address, used for everything. There is deliberately no contact form, because a form would mean collecting data the site otherwise does not touch.

U4S can be reached at info@helperg.com. There is no contact form on this site and no live chat, because both would mean collecting and storing information the site is otherwise designed not to handle. An email address is the whole mechanism.

Whether a message is worth sending mostly depends on whether U4S is in a position to answer it, and often it is not: U4S has no relationship with any institution and no visibility into any application, funding or immigration process. The sections below set out which questions do reach an answer at this address, which ones reach one faster elsewhere, and what happens to a message once it has arrived.

What to write about

Corrections and sources are the most useful things anyone sends. A source that unblocks a researched page is worth more to this project than almost any other kind of message, because the sourcing standard is the actual constraint on what gets published.

  • Corrections. Something on a page is wrong. Include the page address and the specific claim. A source makes the difference between a correction taking days and taking weeks. The process is described on the editorial policy page.
  • Sources. You hold primary material that would let a country, city or institution page be written properly — an institution’s published material, an official authority’s guidance, a dataset with a stated method.
  • Topic suggestions. A question the site should cover and does not. Concrete beats broad: what you actually needed to know, and when.
  • Permission and republication. You want to use more than a short quotation. Describe what you want to use and where. The terms are on the terms of use page.
  • Press and editorial. Questions about how U4S works, how it is funded or how content is produced.

What U4S cannot help with

University4Students is not a university, college, admissions office, government body, scholarship provider or accredited education provider. It has no relationship with any institution and no visibility into any application, immigration or funding process. Messages of the kinds below cannot be answered here, and sending them to U4S costs you time you may not have.

  • Applications and admissions. U4S cannot submit, forward, check, expedite or advise on an application, and cannot tell you whether you would be accepted anywhere. That belongs with the institution’s admissions office.
  • Visas and immigration. U4S cannot advise on entry, residence or work permission, or on any rule, fee or timescale. That belongs with the official immigration authority for the destination and with your university’s international office.
  • Scholarships and funding. U4S does not award, administer or broker funding of any kind, and cannot assess eligibility for any scheme.
  • Medical, legal or financial questions. U4S cannot give advice that requires a licence. A qualified professional in your own country is the right route, and your university’s student support service is usually the fastest way to find one.
  • Individual case advice. U4S publishes general information. It cannot assess a specific situation, mediate a dispute with a landlord or an institution, or represent anyone.

What happens to your message

Messages are received and read by HELPERG LLC, the operator of this site. They are used to reply to you and, where relevant, to act on what you raised. They are not published, not sold, not passed to third parties for marketing, and not added to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

U4S reads what it receives and acts on corrections, but it cannot promise a reply to every message or a response within any particular time. Nothing on this page should be taken as a commitment that a message has been received, read or acted upon — if a matter is time-sensitive or consequential, do not rely on having emailed here.

Email is not a confidential medium. Please do not send health information, financial details, identity documents or anything else sensitive. Full detail on what happens to correspondence is on the privacy policy page.

Common questions

Why is there no contact form?
Because a form would mean collecting and storing submissions, which is exactly the kind of data handling this site is built to avoid. U4S has no accounts, no database and no user-generated content, and adding a form would create all three. An email address does the same job without changing what the site holds about anyone.
Will I get a reply?
Messages are read, and corrections are acted on under the process described on the editorial policy page. No reply is guaranteed and no response time is promised — treat an email here as a message sent rather than a matter handled. If something is time-sensitive or consequential, use the route that can actually resolve it: the institution, the relevant authority, or a qualified professional.
