Corvinus University of Budapest
What this page does is narrow: it lists what a prospective student or a parent still has to establish, and points at the office that holds each answer. It is not written by the institution or on its behalf.

What U4S has verified
OrientationThe official website was retrieved and the page confirmed the institution. Everything else on this page is orientation unless marked otherwise below.
- Tuition and fees
- No figure is published on this page.
- Admissions
- U4S publishes no entry requirement, deadline or grade for any institution.
- Scholarships and support
- U4S names no funding scheme and states no eligibility.
Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether a state-funded place and a fee-paying place are charged differently, and whether programmes taught in different languages carry different rates. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year or intake, the study level, the student category and the period it covers, and unless each amount can be tied to the row it belongs to.
Student life context
Student life is less a property of an institution than an outcome of a timetable. Whether your programme keeps a group together or scatters it, how much of the week is scheduled, how much of the work is done alone, and how far your accommodation sits from where you are taught: those decide how much room is left for anything else. They are settled programme by programme rather than university-wide.
The student services office is the place to ask how societies, sport, volunteering and student representation are organised, whether they run centrally or within individual parts of the university, and what a newcomer does to join one. The broader account of what student life involves is a reasonable way to work out which of those questions actually matters to you before you write.
Housing considerations
Accommodation is the piece to start on first, because most of a move can be rearranged and this part mostly cannot. Establish whether the university runs housing, how places are allocated and in what order, whether a place on a programme has to be confirmed before a room can be requested, and what is advised for applicants who are not allocated one.
If the private market is where you end up, the questions are the ordinary ones: who the agreement is with, what is expected at signing, how a deposit is held and returned, what is charged in addition to the rent, and how much of it can be settled before you travel. Arranging a room from another country sets out that sequence, and the accommodation office can say which parts of it apply locally.
Start sooner than feels reasonable. Rooms near a university go in the order they are asked for, and a late start rarely means that nothing remains, only that what remains was nobody's first choice and is harder to judge from a listing. The housing section covers what to check in any agreement, wherever it ends up being signed.
International student considerations
Coming from another country adds categories rather than steps: how prior study is assessed here, which language a programme and its administration run in, permission to enter and remain, health cover, and the registration that follows arrival. Naming them separately is worth doing at the outset, because they are answered by different offices on different timescales, and one of them is not the university's to answer at all.
Permission to enter and to remain belongs to the relevant official authority, and its answer is the only one with effect; the international office speaks for the university on qualifications, language evidence and enrolment. Ask both wherever a question crosses between them. Building a circle from nothing deals with the part that no office administers, which is generally the part people remember afterwards.
Admissions
You will not find requirements, closing dates or tests here. They belong to the institution, they are set for each programme, level and applicant category, and they move on the institution's own schedule. A summary written elsewhere ages without saying so, which is the trouble with summaries of this particular kind of information.
The practical route is to narrow before reading: fix the programme and the level, establish which applicant category the university places you in, find that route on the official admissions pages, and read that alone. Anything left unclear goes to the admissions office in writing, and the reply is worth keeping somewhere you can find it again.
Ask about what happens after an application as well, since that part is rarely prepared for: how and when an outcome is communicated, what a conditional answer means in the institution's own wording, what is needed from you next, and who to contact if something in your file is unusual. The order in which a move is usually prepared puts that step in sequence with the rest.
Tuition and fees
No fee figure appears on this page. A figure only carries meaning with its programme, its level, its student category and its academic year attached, and one detached from those cannot be tested by a reader against their own situation. The gap here is deliberate, and it is exactly where the institution's own published amounts belong.
One caution to carry into those pages: it may be the case that a state-funded place and a fee-paying place are charged differently, and that programmes taught in different languages are priced separately from each other. Whether either is the case here is for the university to state, and which would apply to you is something to establish with it rather than to guess at. What student support of any kind normally involves is worth reading alongside the fee pages, and the amounts themselves should be read on the institution's own site, for the academic year in which you would be starting.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.

- Application portal
- Not located. Apply through the admissions page above.
- Language requirements
- Not located. U4S records no language-test threshold for any programme, anywhere.
- Required documents
- Not located.
- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

What the institution asks for
Read from the institution’s own admissions pages, in the institution’s own words and units. U4S does not decide whether anyone meets any of it.
U4S never converts between grading systems or between language tests. A GPA is not a percentage, a UK classification is not a German Note, and an IELTS band is not a TOEFL score — institutions decide what they accept, and only the institution’s own published threshold governs an application. Everything below is recorded in the units the institution itself used.

- Institution-wideNamed without a value
Responding to market needs, Corvinus has renewed its master’s programme portfolio.
Official page · retrieved 2026-09-13
Requirements marked as institution-wide were read from a page that covers more than this programme. They are what the institution publishes for applicants generally, and the programme’s own requirements may differ.
Everything above is a partial reading of one page. The official admissions page is the only complete statement of what this institution asks for: https://www.uni-corvinus.hu/post/hir/more-students-admitted-with-scholarships-at-corvinus-alongside-top-ranking-admission-scores/?lang=en
Housing
Source locatedThis is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.
- Official accommodation page
- www.uni-corvinus.hu/post/landing-page/accommodation/
- Housing application
- Not located. Apply through the accommodation page above.
- Does the institution manage housing itself?
- Yes — the institution states it manages housing
- Is housing guaranteed?
- Not reviewed. U4S states no guarantee unless the institution has stated one in writing, because a student would plan a move around it.
- Residence types
- En-suite, Studio, Single room, Dormitory
- Application period
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no housing deadline without the year it belongs to.
- Cost
- EUR 110 per month — Stipendium Hungaricum and Diaspora scholarship holders receive a monthly housing allowance (40,000 HUF, ~110 EUR).
- Deposit
- EUR 180 — Applicants who are successfully allocated a dormitory place are required to pay the dormitory deposit (EUR 110-180 EUR) by 24 August, 2026
- Private renting
- This page also gives guidance about renting from private landlords. That guidance is not about accommodation the institution runs, and nothing recorded above is taken from it.
Where a line reads “not reviewed”, U4S has not retrieved an official page stating it. That is a gap in U4S — it is never a statement that an institution has no housing, offers no guarantee, or has nothing available.
Next verification step
Confirm on the official accommodation page that what is recorded here still reads the same way, and record the application period with its year when the institution publishes it.

Official student support
Offices U4S has located on this institution’s own site. That an institution has a service means its website says so. It does not mean the service has capacity, answers quickly, can help with a particular problem, or that anybody found it useful. U4S measures none of those and publishes no rating of any service.
- International RelationsThe office that deals with applicants and students from abroad. · page retrieved and confirmed · contact form
U4S links to an institution’s own page or contact form and publishes no email address. A list of institutional addresses is a list for anybody who wants one, and a contact form routes a student’s question better than a shared inbox.
If somebody is in immediate danger, use the local emergency number rather than any service listed here. U4S has not verified a single institution’s emergency contact, and a partly-verified one is worse than none.
Programmes
U4S has not read a programme catalogue for this institution. That is a gap in U4S, not a statement about what the institution offers — check its own website for the programmes it runs.
