This page exists to help someone work out what to ask, not to describe the institution. It groups the things an applicant or a parent needs to establish, and names the office or authority that can answer each of them.

Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether the page states which student categories are charged at all, and whether an application charge is listed separately from tuition. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year, the study level, the student category and the period it covers.
Student life context
Most of what people mean by student life comes down to structure: the shape of the teaching week, how your subject organises the people in it, the distance between where you live and where you study, and how much of the year is spent on assessment rather than on teaching. All of that can differ from one programme to another inside the same institution, so general impressions of a university tell you less than a direct question about your own course.
The student services office can say how societies, sport and student organisations are arranged here, whether they belong to the institution or run independently alongside it, and how a new arrival joins one. That distinction matters more than it sounds, because it decides who to approach when something needs sorting out. What student life usually involves sets out the patterns that recur across most systems.
It is also worth asking which language the teaching on your programme is conducted in, and which language the administration around it uses, since those are two separate questions and the answers to them are not always the same. Put both questions to the international office and ask for the answers in writing. Living with a language you are still learning is about the day-to-day of that rather than about any particular place.
Housing considerations
Housing deserves attention before almost anything else, because it is the item where delay narrows the options rather than simply postponing them. Establish first whether the institution runs accommodation of its own, whether it works with organisations that do, or whether it mainly points students towards the private market. Then establish how places are allocated, in what order, and what has to be settled about your place on a programme before a room can be requested at all.
If part or all of the answer is the private market, the questions shift to the agreement itself: whose name it is in, what has to be produced before it can be signed, how any deposit is handled and on what terms it comes back, which costs sit outside the rent, and whether the arrangement can be completed while you are still elsewhere. Arranging housing from another country goes through that sequence step by step, and the accommodation office can say which parts of it are relevant here.
None of this is urgent in the sense of being difficult; it is urgent in the sense of being sequential. Rooms tend to be allocated in the order people ask for them, and what is left at the end is what nobody chose. Ask the accommodation office when its process opens, what it needs from you, and how long its own steps take, then set your dates from that answer rather than from your travel plans.
International student considerations
Coming from another country introduces several parallel questions, and it is easier to keep them apart than to treat them as one problem. How the qualifications you already hold are assessed here. What evidence of language the institution asks for, in whichever language your programme is taught. What permission to enter and remain involves, which only the relevant official authority can tell you. What health cover you are expected to hold and who arranges it. And what registration, banking and other everyday administration follow an arrival.
The international office answers for the institution. The relevant official authority answers for entry and residence, and its answer is the one that governs. Neither this page nor any summary elsewhere can substitute for either of them, and where a summary and an official source disagree, the official source is not the one that is wrong.
Ask in writing, and describe your own circumstances rather than a tidied-up version of them: the qualifications you hold, the institution and the language they came from, and the basis on which you would be arriving. A written question produces a written answer you can keep, which matters when several offices are involved and a long stretch separates the question from the moment the answer is needed. Building a circle in a new place deals with the part of an arrival that no office administers.
Admissions
The useful question is not what admission involves in general but which admission route applies to you. That depends on your programme, your level of study and the category of applicant the institution places you in, and those routes can differ from each other in almost every respect. Identify yours first, and the rest of the institution's published material stops competing for your attention.
The institution's own admissions pages and its admissions office are the authority on that route, and they revise their own material without notifying anyone who has summarised it. So confirm anything time-sensitive against the live page, ask in writing wherever the wording is ambiguous, and keep what you are told. Ask too about what follows a submission: how outcomes are communicated, what a conditional wording means here in practice, and who to contact if your file has something unusual in it.
Tuition and fees
No fee figure is published on this page. U4S carries an amount only where it has been read directly from the institution's own fee pages and recorded with the category, level and academic year it belongs to, and that work has not been done here. The gap is deliberate. On a page, an amount that has been checked and one that has not look exactly alike, and the person who pays for the difference is the reader making plans around it.
Two things here are worth establishing rather than assuming. Whether tuition is charged at all may depend on the category the institution places a student in, so the question to ask first is which category applies to you, before asking what it costs. And if anything is charged in connection with submitting an application, that is a separate matter from tuition and should not be read as the cost of study. How institutions describe their fee categories explains why that first question comes before the second.
The authoritative amount sits on the institution's own fee pages. Read them for the programme concerned, for the category you have been placed in, and for the academic year you would be entering, rather than for whatever appears first. Checking a fee against the official source explains what to look for and what to note down. Nothing on this page implies whether fees are charged here, to whom, or at what level; that is precisely what the institution's own pages exist to state.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.

- Language requirements

- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

What the institution asks for
Read from the institution’s own admissions pages, in the institution’s own words and units. U4S does not decide whether anyone meets any of it.
U4S never converts between grading systems or between language tests. A GPA is not a percentage, a UK classification is not a German Note, and an IELTS band is not a TOEFL score — institutions decide what they accept, and only the institution’s own published threshold governs an application. Everything below is recorded in the units the institution itself used.
Prior qualification

- Institution-wideStated, but more than one value applies
IELTS (Academic) total score 6.5 (with no section less than 5.5)
U4S records no single value here: the page states more than one IELTS threshold (5.5, 6.5), so which one governs this programme is for the institution to say.

- Institution-wideNamed without a value
TOEFL internet-based score of 20 (scale 0–30) in written test and a total score of 90

Requirements marked as institution-wide were read from a page that covers more than this programme. They are what the institution publishes for applicants generally, and the programme’s own requirements may differ.
Everything above is a partial reading of one page. The official admissions page is the only complete statement of what this institution asks for: https://www.lunduniversity.lu.se/study/admission-degree-studies
Housing
Source locatedThis is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.

- Housing application
- Not located. Apply through the accommodation page above.
- Does the institution manage housing itself?
- Not reviewed. Locating an accommodation page does not establish this — some such pages exist mainly to explain that the institution does not.
- Is housing guaranteed?
- Not reviewed. U4S states no guarantee unless the institution has stated one in writing, because a student would plan a move around it.
- Residence types
- Studio
- Application period
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no housing deadline without the year it belongs to.
- Cost
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no rent figure without a currency, a period, a cycle and what it covers.
- Deposit
- Not reviewed. A deposit is not rent, and U4S records one only where the institution states it separately.
- Private renting
- U4S has not recorded whether this page covers private renting. Private accommodation is not university-managed housing, and U4S lists no private landlords or agencies.
Where a line reads “not reviewed”, U4S has not retrieved an official page stating it. That is a gap in U4S — it is never a statement that an institution has no housing, offers no guarantee, or has nothing available.
Next verification step
Confirm on the official accommodation page that what is recorded here still reads the same way, and record the application period with its year when the institution publishes it.

Official student support
Offices U4S has located on this institution’s own site. That an institution has a service means its website says so. It does not mean the service has capacity, answers quickly, can help with a particular problem, or that anybody found it useful. U4S measures none of those and publishes no rating of any service.
- International OfficeThe office that deals with applicants and students from abroad. · page retrieved and confirmed · contact form
U4S links to an institution’s own page or contact form and publishes no email address. A list of institutional addresses is a list for anybody who wants one, and a contact form routes a student’s question better than a shared inbox.
If somebody is in immediate danger, use the local emergency number rather than any service listed here. U4S has not verified a single institution’s emergency contact, and a partly-verified one is worse than none.
Programmes
Read from this institution’s own catalogue. Each title is reproduced exactly as the institution wrote it, and each programme page records the source it came from. This is not necessarily every programme the institution runs: it is what the catalogue U4S retrieved actually listed.
