Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether a student in the category in question is charged at all, and whether rates are published per programme. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year or intake, the study level, the student category and the period it covers, and unless each amount can be tied to the row it belongs to.
Student life context
A useful picture of student life comes from the programme rather than from the institution as a whole. Ask how a week is timetabled, whether study runs full-time or part-time, whether assessment is spread through a term or concentrated, how much of the work is practical, whether any part of a programme takes place away from teaching sites, and whether students move through it together. Put those to the office that runs the programme, because the answer for one course rarely holds for another.
The rest of a week is made of things that are easy to overlook until you are there. Ask what societies, sport, events and student representation exist, who is behind them, at what moment in the year a newcomer can actually join, and whether anything is laid on for people who have just enrolled. Ask which language a programme is taught and assessed in, and which language the administration you will deal with uses from day to day. Ask too who to speak to when something is not going well, because knowing that in advance is worth more than working it out under pressure, and our guide on asking for help covers when it is worth raising something at all.
Housing considerations
Accommodation deserves attention from the same point as the application, not after it. Establish whether the institution provides or allocates housing, whether it directs students towards particular providers, whether any application has its own timing, and what someone does who arrives with nothing settled. The office responsible can say all of that, and can say what it advises for the period immediately after arrival if a longer arrangement is not yet in place.
On the private market, read the agreement rather than the listing. Establish the period covered, what the rent includes and what is billed on top, the deposit and the terms on which it is returned, notice on either side, whether furnishings are included, who is named if you share, and what applies when teaching pauses. Ask what language the document itself is written in, and whether the institution can point you to someone who will go through it with you before you sign.
Test the journey too. Work out how you would get from a given address to the places you are expected to be, at the times you would actually make the trip. Where money is shared with other people, agree how it will be handled before you move in rather than afterwards, and keep the arrangement written down. Managing money while studying abroad covers the habits that make that easier to sustain.
International student considerations
Applying from another country turns a single decision into a sequence of separate matters: what entry and residence involve for a person in your circumstances; whatever registration is expected locally once you have arrived; health cover, and the route to obtaining it; whether paid work during study is available to you; who assesses the qualifications and documents you arrive with, and what that assessment involves; and the language a programme runs in, alongside the language its administration runs in.
Each of those belongs to the institution's international student office or to an official authority, and neither is replaced by anything written here. Ask the office to set out the sequence in the order it happens, ask which steps depend on an earlier one being finished, and ask which authority owns the parts the institution does not. Then read that authority's own guidance directly, and ask about your own circumstances rather than about the general case.
If working alongside study matters to your plans, treat it as something to establish rather than something to assume, and establish it before you rely on it. What kind of work students commonly look for, and how they tend to go about it, is general ground covered in our guide to finding a student job, while whether it is open to you at all is for the institution and the relevant official authority to say.
Admissions
This page states nothing about what an applicant needs, when applications are considered or how they are compared. Those belong to the institution, they differ between programmes and intakes, and they are revised, so the version worth acting on is the current one published by the institution itself for the intake you have in mind.
Work from the programme outwards. Open the page for the exact course you want, read the admissions information attached to it, note which office publishes that information, and put anything unclear to that office in writing while keeping the reply. Where another source disagrees with the institution, the institution's own page is the one to act on. U4S is not affiliated with the institution, does not write on its behalf and is not endorsed by it, and other places and their institutions are indexed under cities.
Tuition and fees
No fee figure appears on this page. The institution publishes its own amounts and revises them when it chooses, what is charged can differ from one programme to another and from one level to another, and a copy held anywhere else goes stale quietly, without announcing that it has. Anyone planning around a cost should take it from the body that sets it, at the moment they need to rely on it.
Read official pages with some cautions in mind, none of them assumed to be true here. Whether a charge arises at all may turn on the category the institution places a student in, which is why your own category is the thing to pin down before any amount is worth reading. And because rates are commonly published programme by programme rather than as one figure for the institution as a whole, the page you first land on may not be the one that covers your course.
Ask the institution which of its pages is authoritative on fees, which amount applies to someone in your position, what period it covers, what is billed separately and when it falls due. Ask what happens to money already paid if plans change. Only then go to the institution's own fee pages for the year of entry that concerns you, and put what they say back to the office that publishes them before committing to anything. Questions to ask before paying tuition lists the ones most often skipped.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.

- Application portal

- Language requirements
- Not located. U4S records no language-test threshold for any programme, anywhere.
- Required documents
- Not located.
- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

Housing
U4S has not located an official accommodation page for Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology. That is a gap in U4S — it is not a statement that the institution has no housing, and it should not be read as one.
This is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.
Official student support
Offices U4S has located on this institution’s own site. That an institution has a service means its website says so. It does not mean the service has capacity, answers quickly, can help with a particular problem, or that anybody found it useful. U4S measures none of those and publishes no rating of any service.
- MCAST International Office – MCASTThe office that deals with applicants and students from abroad. · page retrieved and confirmed · contact form
U4S links to an institution’s own page or contact form and publishes no email address. A list of institutional addresses is a list for anybody who wants one, and a contact form routes a student’s question better than a shared inbox.
If somebody is in immediate danger, use the local emergency number rather than any service listed here. U4S has not verified a single institution’s emergency contact, and a partly-verified one is worse than none.
Programmes
U4S has not read a programme catalogue for this institution. That is a gap in U4S, not a statement about what the institution offers — check its own website for the programmes it runs.
