Poznań University of Technology
This page is an orientation aid rather than a prospectus. It marks out what a prospective student or a parent still has to find out, and points each question at the office that can answer it properly.

What U4S has verified
OrientationThe official website was retrieved and the page confirmed the institution. Everything else on this page is orientation unless marked otherwise below.
- Tuition and fees
- No figure is published on this page.
- Admissions
- U4S publishes no entry requirement, deadline or grade for any institution.
- Scholarships and support
- U4S names no funding scheme and states no eligibility.
Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether programmes taught in different languages are priced separately, and which student category each rate applies to. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year, the study level, the student category and the period it covers.
Student life context
Student life is less a property of an institution than a by-product of how a particular programme is run. Contact hours, the size of teaching groups, how much of the work is done alone, whether the same people are in the room each week, and how much travelling the week involves: those settle how much time and energy is left over, and they differ from subject to subject under one roof. None of it is described here, because none of it can be described honestly at the level of a whole institution.
Complementary sources are worth using, and they rarely give the same answer. The student services office can say what formally exists: societies, sport, student representation, and where support of each kind sits. A student already on the programme can say what is actually used and what quietly is not. The community pages cover the general business of finding people. What the stretch before that feels like belongs to the wellbeing pages.
Housing considerations
Keep separate questions separate. What the institution itself can offer is one enquiry, and what the surrounding rental market expects of a student arriving from elsewhere is another. The accommodation office answers the former with authority. On the latter it can often describe how students here tend to manage, which is useful without being an official position, and worth taking as description rather than as a rule.
On institutional accommodation, establish whether any exists, how applications are prioritised, whether a place on a programme is a precondition, what a room includes, and what happens outside teaching periods. On private renting, establish what a landlord asks for at signing, how a deposit is handled, what sits outside the rent, and whether anything at all can be agreed before you are in the country. A written answer is worth more than a quick one.
Starting early is arithmetic rather than urgency. Housing near any institution is finite and is taken in the order people ask for it, so late applicants choose from what is left, which usually means longer journeys and less certainty about what is being agreed to. Ask the accommodation office when its process opens and treat that date as the one the rest of the planning hangs on. The student housing section covers the questions that apply wherever you end up.
International student considerations
An application from abroad breaks into categories, and knowing the categories is most of the work. How study completed elsewhere is assessed. What language a programme runs in and what evidence the institution asks for. Permission to enter and remain, which belongs to the official authority that governs it. Health cover. Registration and the routine administration that follows arrival. Whether anything may be done before travelling, and what has to wait. None of these is answered on this page, and none of them should be answered by a forum.
The international office is the place to start for everything in the institution's own hands, and it deals with exactly these questions as a matter of routine. For anything an official authority decides, that authority is the only source that binds you, whatever anyone else has described. The country pages set out the kinds of question that recur wherever somebody studies, which is a different thing from telling you what applies to you here.
Admissions
Nothing on this page states what is needed in order to be admitted, and that is deliberate. Entry criteria belong to a programme, a level and a category of applicant; they are set by the institution and they change when the institution decides they should. Anyone repeating them elsewhere is describing a moving object from memory, which is not a safe basis for a plan.
What to do instead is narrow the question before reading anything. Identify the programme, the level and the applicant category that describe you, then find the official material written for that specific route. Read that, and take the ambiguities to the admissions office rather than resolving them by guesswork or by asking somebody who went through a different route in a different cycle.
Another set of questions is about process rather than criteria: how an application is submitted, what documents are wanted and in what form, how outcomes are communicated, and what to do when a background does not fit the shape of the form. Those decide whether an application goes smoothly, and they are rarely covered by any summary. The sources and methodology page explains what this site does and does not publish about institutions.
Tuition and fees
This page carries no tuition figure, and the omission is not an oversight waiting to be filled in. An amount carried over from a summary site, from an earlier cycle or from a different applicant category is the kind of mistake that can cost a reader money before anybody notices it, so the honest position is silence rather than an estimate.
There are also reasons a published fee can be misread even when it is read from the right place. Programmes taught in different languages may be priced separately, so what is attached to one version of a programme need not be what is attached to another. Which rate applies may depend on the category the institution places a student in, and that category is something to establish before comparing anything at all. Treat both as questions to put to the institution.
The institution's own fee pages are the place to look, read for the relevant programme, the relevant level and the relevant academic year rather than in general, with anything unclear put in writing to the office that publishes them. Questions to ask before paying anything lists what is worth confirming while you have that office's attention.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.
- Official admissions page
- put.poznan.pl/en/admission-for-international
- Application portal
- Not located. Apply through the admissions page above.
- Language requirements
- Not located. U4S records no language-test threshold for any programme, anywhere.
- Required documents
- put.poznan.pl/en/admission-for-international/first-cycle-studies/documents-required
- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

What the institution asks for
Read from the institution’s own admissions pages, in the institution’s own words and units. U4S does not decide whether anyone meets any of it.
U4S never converts between grading systems or between language tests. A GPA is not a percentage, a UK classification is not a German Note, and an IELTS band is not a TOEFL score — institutions decide what they accept, and only the institution’s own published threshold governs an application. Everything below is recorded in the units the institution itself used.

Requirements marked as institution-wide were read from a page that covers more than this programme. They are what the institution publishes for applicants generally, and the programme’s own requirements may differ.
Everything above is a partial reading of one page. The official admissions page is the only complete statement of what this institution asks for: https://put.poznan.pl/en/admission-for-international
Housing
Source locatedThis is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.
- Official accommodation page
- put.poznan.pl/en/accommodation-residence
- Housing application
- Not located. Apply through the accommodation page above.
- Does the institution manage housing itself?
- Not reviewed. Locating an accommodation page does not establish this — some such pages exist mainly to explain that the institution does not.
- Is housing guaranteed?
- Not reviewed. U4S states no guarantee unless the institution has stated one in writing, because a student would plan a move around it.
- Residence types
- Dormitory
- Application period
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no housing deadline without the year it belongs to.
- Cost
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no rent figure without a currency, a period, a cycle and what it covers.
- Deposit
- Not reviewed. A deposit is not rent, and U4S records one only where the institution states it separately.
- Private renting
- U4S has not recorded whether this page covers private renting. Private accommodation is not university-managed housing, and U4S lists no private landlords or agencies.
Where a line reads “not reviewed”, U4S has not retrieved an official page stating it. That is a gap in U4S — it is never a statement that an institution has no housing, offers no guarantee, or has nothing available.
Next verification step
Confirm on the official accommodation page that what is recorded here still reads the same way, and record the application period with its year when the institution publishes it.

Official student support
Offices U4S has located on this institution’s own site. That an institution has a service means its website says so. It does not mean the service has capacity, answers quickly, can help with a particular problem, or that anybody found it useful. U4S measures none of those and publishes no rating of any service.
- International CooperationThe office that deals with applicants and students from abroad. · page retrieved and confirmed · contact form
U4S links to an institution’s own page or contact form and publishes no email address. A list of institutional addresses is a list for anybody who wants one, and a contact form routes a student’s question better than a shared inbox.
If somebody is in immediate danger, use the local emergency number rather than any service listed here. U4S has not verified a single institution’s emergency contact, and a partly-verified one is worse than none.
Programmes
U4S has not read a programme catalogue for this institution. That is a gap in U4S, not a statement about what the institution offers — check its own website for the programmes it runs.
