- U4S names no funding scheme and states no eligibility.
Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether a charge depends on the language of the programme or the form of study, and what period the amount covers. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year or intake, the study level, the student category and the period it covers, and unless each amount can be tied to the row it belongs to.
Student life context
Very little of what makes a place liveable day to day is visible from outside it. What can be established in advance is structure: how heavily a programme timetables the week, whether teaching keeps a group together, how much independent work sits between classes, and how far apart the places you are expected to be turn out to be. Those vary widely inside a single institution, which is why the question belongs to the programme rather than to the university as a whole.
Student services can describe what is organised and how a newcomer joins it: societies, sport, representation, volunteering, when they recruit and in which language they run. It is also the office to ask what happens when a term goes badly, what academic advice exists, whether counselling or disability provision has to be arranged in advance, and how quickly any of it can be reached.
Academic habits are a separate subject from social ones and worth asking about separately. Establish what is expected in the way of attendance, how independent study is meant to be used, how work is assessed, and what a student is expected to do without being told. Adjusting to a different academic culture deals with that shift in general, and the teaching staff on the programme can say what it looks like in practice.
Housing considerations
Establish which kinds of accommodation are genuinely open to you before anything else: places the institution allocates itself, places it lists but does not run, and the ordinary private market. Ask whether applying is separate from the admission application, when it opens, how places are decided when applicants outnumber rooms, what a place includes, and what the alternatives are for anyone not offered one.
Arranging this early is not caution for its own sake. Rooms near any institution are taken in the order they are asked for, and a late start narrows the choice to whatever is left, which tends to be further away and harder to judge from a distance. Ask the accommodation office when its process opens and build your own timing around that answer rather than around the point at which you would prefer to start thinking about it. The student housing section sets out the questions that apply wherever you end up renting.
International student considerations
Sort the work into categories, because they are answered by different people on different timescales: recognition of prior study, the language a programme and its administration run in, permission to enter and to remain, health cover, money and payment, and whatever registration follows arrival. Naming them separately is the useful part. This page supplies no content for any of them.
The international office speaks for the institution on qualifications, language evidence and enrolment. It does not decide entry or residence, and neither does any summary. That belongs to the relevant official authority, and its answer is the only one that binds anybody. Where both are involved, ask each of them and note which answer is descriptive and which is binding, then keep both in writing.
Language is a practical item on that list and nothing more. Establish which language your programme is taught in, which language day-to-day administration runs in, whether the two are the same, and what is available where they are not. Dealing with everyday administration in another language covers the ordinary habits that keep it routine.
Admissions
No requirements and no dates appear here. They are set by the institution for each programme and each level, they depend on the category an applicant is placed in, and they are revised on a schedule this page has no sight of. A copy held elsewhere is a snapshot with no date attached, and a reader cannot tell a current snapshot from an old one.
So narrow before you read. Work out the exact programme, the level and the route that describes you, read the institution's own admissions material for that route rather than its general pages, and put whatever remains to the admissions office in writing. Check the official page again before acting, since it is the page that changes rather than your notes. How this site sources what it publishes sets out what is verified here and what is deliberately left to the institution.
Tuition and fees
There is no fee figure on this page. Publishing one would mean handing over an amount detached from the conditions that give it meaning, and those conditions are the programme, the level, the category the institution places an applicant in, and the period the amount covers. This page also declines to characterise the amount in any direction, because a characterisation is an unchecked figure with the digits taken out of it.
Take a couple of open questions into the institution's own pages instead. Whether a student is charged may turn on the language of the programme and on the form in which it is followed, and an amount shown may cover a full academic year or a shorter period than that. Confirm both rather than assume either. Read those fee pages for your programme, your level and the academic year you would be entering, and ask the office that publishes them about anything that could be read more than one way. How student categories affect what is charged explains the classification that usually decides which figure is yours.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.

- Application portal
- mais.tuke.sk/dokumenty/eprihlaska_276312/How_to_apply_EP.pdf
- Language requirements
- Not located. U4S records no language-test threshold for any programme, anywhere.
- Required documents
- Not located.
- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

Housing
Source locatedThis is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.

- Housing application
- Not located. Apply through the accommodation page above.
- Does the institution manage housing itself?
- Not reviewed. Locating an accommodation page does not establish this — some such pages exist mainly to explain that the institution does not.
- Is housing guaranteed?
- Not reviewed. U4S states no guarantee unless the institution has stated one in writing, because a student would plan a move around it.
- Residence types
- Not reviewed.
- Application period
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no housing deadline without the year it belongs to.
- Cost
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no rent figure without a currency, a period, a cycle and what it covers.
- Deposit
- Not reviewed. A deposit is not rent, and U4S records one only where the institution states it separately.
- Private renting
- U4S has not recorded whether this page covers private renting. Private accommodation is not university-managed housing, and U4S lists no private landlords or agencies.
Where a line reads “not reviewed”, U4S has not retrieved an official page stating it. That is a gap in U4S — it is never a statement that an institution has no housing, offers no guarantee, or has nothing available.
Next verification step
Open the official accommodation page and record, only where it states them explicitly: whether the institution manages housing itself, whether it offers any guarantee and in what words, the residence types it names, the application period with its year, and any cost with its currency, period and what it covers.

Programmes
U4S has not read a programme catalogue for this institution. That is a gap in U4S, not a statement about what the institution offers — check its own website for the programmes it runs.
