Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether a state-funded place and a fee-paying place are charged differently, and whether rates are published per faculty. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year or intake, the study level, the student category and the period it covers, and unless each amount can be tied to the row it belongs to.
Student life context
Student life is mostly a function of your timetable, your commute and the people around you, and each of those varies by programme rather than across a whole institution. Establish how your teaching is distributed through the week, how much of it is in person, whether the places you would study and live sit close together or require daily travel, and what the university provides in the way of study space, catering and support. Our studying abroad pages describe those variables in general; the student services office is the place to ask how they fall here.
Whatever exists socially is made and remade by students, which is why it is described so unevenly from the outside. Ask what is running now, how newcomers join, and whether anything is organised for people arriving from elsewhere or part way through a year. Deciding in advance how you will meet people is worth the effort, since it is the part of a move that rarely arranges itself, and our community material is written for exactly that problem.
Housing considerations
Start with ownership of the question. If the university operates accommodation, its accommodation office decides how places are allocated and can tell you whether a separate application is involved, when it runs, what a place includes, and what happens if your admission is confirmed later than most. If it does not operate accommodation, or if you decide against it, you are on the private market and facing a different set of risks.
On that market the questions are contractual rather than aesthetic: how long the agreement runs, what ends it, what the price includes, what is billed separately, what deposit is taken and how it is returned, whether anyone must guarantee the agreement, and who the counterparty actually is. Our housing material sets out the checks in order. Verify through the university or another route you trust before any money moves, and be wary of anything that requires you to act quickly.
The reason to do this early is structural. Admission and accommodation are decided by different processes on different timelines, and holding an offer does not hold a room. Working the problem from home, while you still have time and people around you to ask, is a good deal easier than working it out in the days after you land.
International student considerations
Group the unknowns before you try to solve them. Documents are usually the part that takes longest: what the university needs to see, in what form, whether translations or a formal recognition step are involved, and how long each takes when somebody else has to produce it. Language is the other university-owned question: which language your programme is taught in, which language the administration works in, and what the admissions office accepts as evidence of language ability. All of that belongs to the university to answer.
Then there is a category the university does not control and this page will not summarise: permission to come and to stay for the purpose of study, whether any registration is expected after arrival, arrangements for health cover, and the terms on which any paid work might be possible. Those are questions for the relevant official authority, and only the office that issues a given document can state its current conditions. The international office can point you towards the right authority, which is a different thing from answering for it.
Everything else is logistics you can prepare calmly: banking and how funds will reach you, what to bring in original form and what a copy will do, who to contact when something goes wrong, and how to handle the everyday friction of operating in a language you are still learning. Handling language barriers treats that as the practical problem it is, without dressing it up as anything larger.
Admissions
What applies to you is decided by your programme and by the applicant category the university places you in, so this page states no requirement, no deadline and no test name. Guessing at those from outside would be unhelpful even in the unlikely event of being right, because the version that matters is the one the university itself publishes for the cycle you are applying in.
Work from the source outward. Find the university's admissions pages, then the page for your specific programme, then the section written for applicants in a situation like yours, and read those instead of any summary. Put anything ambiguous to the admissions office in writing and keep the answer. Ask which application route it considers you to be on, because that one answer changes which instructions apply to you. Where documents must be issued by a school, a previous institution or an official office, start those requests before anything else.
Tuition and fees
No fee figure appears on this page. Fees are set by the institution, revised over time and published in more than one variant, and a copied amount gives readers confidence without giving them accuracy. Sending you to the source is more useful than competing with it, and it is the only version of this that stays true after we stop looking.
It may be that a state-funded place and a fee-paying place are charged differently here, and that rates appear per faculty rather than as one amount for the whole university. Treat that purely as something to verify. The questions worth asking before paying anything will help you frame the conversation, and the university itself is the only body that can say which of its published rates would apply to you.
Finish on the university's own fee pages for the relevant year, and read the surrounding detail as carefully as the amount: what the figure covers, what falls outside it, when payments are expected if they are staged, and what happens if your circumstances change. Confirm anything unclear with the office named on those pages, and keep that confirmation.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.
- Official admissions page
- www.unitbv.ro/en/prospective-students/admission
- Application portal
- Not located. Apply through the admissions page above.
- Language requirements
- Not located. U4S records no language-test threshold for any programme, anywhere.
- Required documents
- Not located.
- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

Housing
Source locatedThis is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.
- Official accommodation page
- www.unitbv.ro/en/international-students/accommodation-and-facilities
- Housing application
- Not located. Apply through the accommodation page above.
- Does the institution manage housing itself?
- Not reviewed. Locating an accommodation page does not establish this — some such pages exist mainly to explain that the institution does not.
- Is housing guaranteed?
- Not reviewed. U4S states no guarantee unless the institution has stated one in writing, because a student would plan a move around it.
- Residence types
- Not reviewed.
- Application period
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no housing deadline without the year it belongs to.
- Cost
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no rent figure without a currency, a period, a cycle and what it covers.
- Deposit
- Not reviewed. A deposit is not rent, and U4S records one only where the institution states it separately.
- Private renting
- U4S has not recorded whether this page covers private renting. Private accommodation is not university-managed housing, and U4S lists no private landlords or agencies.
Where a line reads “not reviewed”, U4S has not retrieved an official page stating it. That is a gap in U4S — it is never a statement that an institution has no housing, offers no guarantee, or has nothing available.
Next verification step
Open the official accommodation page and record, only where it states them explicitly: whether the institution manages housing itself, whether it offers any guarantee and in what words, the residence types it names, the application period with its year, and any cost with its currency, period and what it covers.

Official student support
Offices U4S has located on this institution’s own site. That an institution has a service means its website says so. It does not mean the service has capacity, answers quickly, can help with a particular problem, or that anybody found it useful. U4S measures none of those and publishes no rating of any service.
- International studentsThe office that deals with applicants and students from abroad. · page retrieved and confirmed · contact form
U4S links to an institution’s own page or contact form and publishes no email address. A list of institutional addresses is a list for anybody who wants one, and a contact form routes a student’s question better than a shared inbox.
If somebody is in immediate danger, use the local emergency number rather than any service listed here. U4S has not verified a single institution’s emergency contact, and a partly-verified one is worse than none.
Programmes
U4S has not read a programme catalogue for this institution. That is a gap in U4S, not a statement about what the institution offers — check its own website for the programmes it runs.
