What U4S has verified
OrientationThe official website was retrieved and the page confirmed the institution. Everything else on this page is orientation unless marked otherwise below.
- Tuition and fees
- No figure is published on this page.
- Admissions
- U4S publishes no entry requirement, deadline or grade for any institution.
- Scholarships and support
- U4S names no funding scheme and states no eligibility.
Next verification step
Tuition was not published for this institution. Open the institution’s own fee pages and check whether an amount is stated for the year in question, whether a separate amount is stated for any other student category, and whether the programme sits outside the arrangement described. Publish nothing unless the page itself states the amount, the currency, the academic year, the study level, the student category and the period it covers.
Student life context
What a week feels like depends far more on the course than on the institution around it. How teaching is arranged, how much of the day is timetabled, whether work is done in groups or alone, how far apart the places a student has to be actually are, and whether a cohort holds together across the year are the things that decide it, and each can vary between programmes at the same institution. The reliable way to find out is to ask the programme office, and then to ask students already on that course.
The support around teaching is easier to research and worth mapping before it is needed. Establish what study advice, language help, disability provision and pastoral contact exist, whether they are reached centrally or through a department, who is entitled to use them, and what a first contact usually looks like. Knowing where to go before anything is wrong is most of the value, and looking after yourself while studying is far simpler when the route to help has already been walked once.
Housing considerations
Two things are worth establishing before anything else about accommodation: what the institution provides, and who is eligible for it. Provision differs enormously in kind, from rooms allocated directly, to a limited stock reserved for particular groups, to a list of providers, to no involvement at all, and each of those places a different amount of work on the student. The accommodation or student services office is the only body that can say which applies, and it is worth asking early enough that the answer can still change your plans.
Arranging early matters because choice narrows as teaching approaches, and because a search run from another country strips out the checks that viewing a place in person provides for nothing. Finding somewhere to live from abroad sets out how people usually manage that, including what to confirm about a landlord and an agreement before any payment is made. Where an offer feels urgent, the urgency itself is the thing to slow down for.
International student considerations
Start by separating the questions by owner. Whether an earlier qualification is recognised for a given programme, and how the institution establishes that a student can follow the teaching, are institutional decisions. Which language each part of a programme is taught and assessed in, and which language the administration around it uses, are also institutional facts to confirm, and they need not be the same answer. None of that can be settled from a third-party page, this one included.
Entry and residence sit entirely outside the institution. They belong to the relevant official authority, whose own published position on a specific case is the only version worth relying on, and which is worth checking again close to the moment it matters rather than once, early, and then trusted. Health cover, registration after arrival and banking form a third group, practical rather than academic, and often dependent on documents produced by the first two.
The international office is the natural first contact, both for the parts it owns and for naming who owns the rest. Describe your own circumstances rather than a general case, ask in writing where you can, and keep every answer with a date attached to it. The adjustment that follows arrival is a separate matter from the paperwork, and the way an unfamiliar place stops feeling unfamiliar tends to take longer than the administrative side does.
Admissions
The useful question is not what the requirements are but where to find the ones that apply to you. They attach to a programme and to an applicant's own record, and the institution may recognise more than one route into the same subject. This page publishes no criteria, no dates and no measures, because a third party repeating detail of that kind is how outdated versions of it stay in circulation long after they have stopped being true.
So work from the programme outwards: read what the institution publishes for that specific programme, then take everything ambiguous to the admissions office with your own situation described in plain terms, and ask which office is responsible for which stage. Comparing several institutions is easier when the pages are built alike, which is why every profile in this section asks the same questions in the same order.
Tuition and fees
You will not find a fee figure in this text. U4S does not restate an amount it has not read directly from the institution's own fee pages and recorded with the category, level and period it was published under, together with the date it was read. An unverified number is worse than none at all, because a reader treats a number as settled in a way they never treat a sentence.
There is also the question of what such an amount would be describing. It may be set outside the institution rather than by it, it may differ according to the category a student is placed in, and it may not apply to every kind of programme. Whether any of that is the case here has to be established with the institution rather than inferred from anything published elsewhere, including from this page.
That makes the institution's own fee pages for the relevant year the destination, and reading them closely the task: which category the amount is written for, what period it covers, what it includes and what falls outside it, and when the page was last revised. Whatever the answer turns out to be, it is only part of a budget, since rent, insurance, materials and travel sit outside a fee page altogether, and fees and living costs are separate problems that need separate estimates.
Admissions
The institution’s own general admissions page. A particular programme may set requirements of its own, which this does not cover.

- Application portal
- Not located. Apply through the admissions page above.
- Language requirements
- Not located. U4S records no language-test threshold for any programme, anywhere.
- Required documents
- Not located.
- Intake and deadlines
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no deadline without the intake it belongs to, and has not read this page’s dates.
Entry requirements change between intakes and differ by programme, by the qualification you hold and by where you are applying from. U4S records where the official requirements are published and when that page was last retrieved — nothing more. Students should verify current requirements on the official admissions page before relying on anything.
Next verification step
Open the official admissions page and record, only where it states them explicitly: the intake it applies to, the deadlines with their years, and the applicant categories it covers. U4S records no grade, test score or acceptance rate at any point.

What the institution asks for
Read from the institution’s own admissions pages, in the institution’s own words and units. U4S does not decide whether anyone meets any of it.
U4S never converts between grading systems or between language tests. A GPA is not a percentage, a UK classification is not a German Note, and an IELTS band is not a TOEFL score — institutions decide what they accept, and only the institution’s own published threshold governs an application. Everything below is recorded in the units the institution itself used.
Prior qualification
A qualification the institution says applicants must already hold.

Requirements marked as institution-wide were read from a page that covers more than this programme. They are what the institution publishes for applicants generally, and the programme’s own requirements may differ.
Everything above is a partial reading of one page. The official admissions page is the only complete statement of what this institution asks for: https://www.universite-paris-saclay.fr/en/admission/masters-applications-and-enrolment
Housing
Source locatedThis is about housing the institution itself runs. It says nothing about private rentals near the campus, which are a different market with different contracts, different prices and different consequences if something goes wrong.
- Official accommodation page
- www.universite-paris-saclay.fr/en/vie-de-campus/accommodation
- Housing application
- Not located. Apply through the accommodation page above.
- Does the institution manage housing itself?
- Not reviewed. Locating an accommodation page does not establish this — some such pages exist mainly to explain that the institution does not.
- Is housing guaranteed?
- Not reviewed. U4S states no guarantee unless the institution has stated one in writing, because a student would plan a move around it.
- Residence types
- Studio
- Application period
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no housing deadline without the year it belongs to.
- Cost
- Not reviewed. U4S publishes no rent figure without a currency, a period, a cycle and what it covers.
- Deposit
- Not reviewed. A deposit is not rent, and U4S records one only where the institution states it separately.
- Private renting
- U4S has not recorded whether this page covers private renting. Private accommodation is not university-managed housing, and U4S lists no private landlords or agencies.
Where a line reads “not reviewed”, U4S has not retrieved an official page stating it. That is a gap in U4S — it is never a statement that an institution has no housing, offers no guarantee, or has nothing available.
Next verification step
Confirm on the official accommodation page that what is recorded here still reads the same way, and record the application period with its year when the institution publishes it.

Official student support
Offices U4S has located on this institution’s own site. That an institution has a service means its website says so. It does not mean the service has capacity, answers quickly, can help with a particular problem, or that anybody found it useful. U4S measures none of those and publishes no rating of any service.
- International studentsThe office that deals with applicants and students from abroad. · page retrieved and confirmed · contact form
U4S links to an institution’s own page or contact form and publishes no email address. A list of institutional addresses is a list for anybody who wants one, and a contact form routes a student’s question better than a shared inbox.
If somebody is in immediate danger, use the local emergency number rather than any service listed here. U4S has not verified a single institution’s emergency contact, and a partly-verified one is worse than none.
Programmes
U4S has not read a programme catalogue for this institution. That is a gap in U4S, not a statement about what the institution offers — check its own website for the programmes it runs.
